Amateur radio in Salisbury since the club began
A radio club for anyone curious about how the world talks to itself.
We meet in Salisbury once a month, run nets on the air every week, and put people through their licence exams from Foundation upwards. No licence, no equipment and no idea where to start is a perfectly good place to begin — several of our members arrived exactly like that.

What goes on
Monthly meetings
A talk, a bench night, or somebody’s project spread across two tables. Tea, biscuits, and people who will happily explain the same thing twice.
Weekly nets
On-air meetings run by a net controller, open to members and non-members alike. The gentlest possible place to make your first contact.
Training and exams
Foundation, Intermediate and Full. We teach in small groups, invigilate the exams ourselves, and lend equipment while you find your feet.

Come along before you join
Visitors are welcome at any meeting, three times a year without joining. Turn up, have a cup of tea, see whether we are your sort of people. Subscription rates and the membership form are on the joining page — no surprises at the door.
